Was not what I expected cotton plus some sort of elastic material that is not cool at all and sticks to the body, probably all right for winter if it gets really cold.
I have been wearing this underwear for decades and don't want anything else. It warms wonderfully on cold days and is hard-wearing, easy care and long-lasting.
